Knect AM

a warm welcome

What is Knect AM?

Knect AM is our main family-friendly service on Sunday mornings.

We encourage a "come early, stay late" approach, as we believe the fellowship before and after the service is just as important as the service itself.

What happens at Knect AM?

From 10.15am, we serve tea, coffee, juice, muffins and fruit which gives the opportunity to chat to each other and any visitors. Our Hosting Teams will make everyone feel welcome.

"Every Sunday from 10.15am for refreshments; main service starts at 11.00am"

We move though to the main auditorium in time for the start of worship at 11am. Our worship team lead the praise, with the words displayed on screen. Those who feel led by the Holy Spirit are encouraged to speak or sing in praise to God – sometimes through the gift of tongues.

Later in the service we normally have a Bible-based, inspirational message brought by one of the church’s preaching team – known as a sermon in other churches. At the end – usually around 12.30pm – there is usually an opportunity for prayer from our prayer team. At the same time, tea, coffee, juice and muffins are served for a further half an hour, so there is no need to rush away at the end.

our worship band

On the first Sunday of the month we hold what we call a ‘Life Event’ where we look at an aspect of life and then at 12.30pm we put up bouncy castles for the kids and families bring packed lunches making it easier for everyone to stay on a bit longer.

What facilities do you have for children?

We have a crèche downstairs for pre-school children which is staffed from 11.00am – 12.30pm.

If you're thinking of visiting, your children are most welcome to try it out. All we ask is that they're taken down and collected by a responsible adult.

Powerkidz – for children aged 3-11 – go to their classes downstairs around 11.20am. We ask that all Powerkidz children are registered before the start of the meeting. Powerkidz also finishes around 12.30pm.

Parents are asked to slip downstairs to collect their kids should the meeting run on past 12.30pm.

What is the dress code?

It’s casual but it's really up to you.

What evening meetings do you have?

We now only hold evening services at 6pm on the final Sunday of a month which has five Sundays in it. This allows us to have a longer praise & worship time.
