Kidz Zone

Here at The Kings, we love kids and want to make church a safe, fun place for them and somewhere relaxing for those who bring them.

"All of our children’s activities are covered by our Safeguarding (Child Protection) Policy"

All of our children’s activities are covered by our Safeguarding (Child Protection) Policy which requires regular disclosure checks on our children’s workers which is overseen by our Child Protection Coordinator. As well as being a child friendly place on a Sunday, we have other activities for kids during the week such as;

Parent and toddlers - PowerTotz

PowerTotz meets on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9.45am – 11.15am and caters for children from birth to three years old. This parent and toddler group has run for almost 20 years and hundreds of parents and children have enjoyed being part of it.

It's held downstairs in two rooms. One has a climbing frame and plenty of other toys and games for the wee ones to play with. In the other room, the children can have a snack and a drink, while the adults take tea and toast, which are provided free. The last 10 minutes are spent singing fun songs and playing musical instruments together.

We currently charge £1 per session for a first child and 50p per session for each additional child (also payable for any missed sessions). Due to high demand and limited spaces there's often a waiting list to join, so if you'd like to come along, it’s best to check in advance using the contact details below.

Saturday Superheroes

Saturday Heroes

Following the huge success of our Summer Club, we now hold a free kids’ club that runs on the first Saturday of the month from 2pm – 4pm. Saturday Superheroes is open to children who are of Primary 1 – Secondary 1 age, and includes activities, singing, dramas, prizes and loads of fun. There’s plenty of space, so you don’t need to check availability in advance. Just come down and leave your kids while the club is running.

We hold our ‘Life Event’ service the day after this and those attending Saturday Superheroes are especially welcome if accompanied by their parents.

Saturday Soccer Heroes

Our weekly skills based indoor football training is proving to be very popular in our community. It costs £2 per session, per child and we also provide free tea, coffee and access to newspapers and big screen TV for parents and guardians who want to hang around while their kids are training.

We currently run two sessions each Saturday:

Our session for 3 – 5s is now approaching capacity and a waiting list may apply.
